  • Played at Delta Stae Univ (DII National Champions 2004) 1968 -- 1972
  • Worked in Distribution, Sales and Marketing with Union Carbide and Mobil Oil until 1999
  • Wakefield HS Coach 2001 -- Present
    • 77 wins, 43 losses
    • Cap 6 Conference Champions in 2004 and 2005
    • Cap 6 Coach of the Year in 2004 and 2005
    • Regional Coach of the Year for the 2004 season
  • Member of the American Baseball Coaches Assoc., North Carolina Baseball Coaches Assoc., and National High School Coaches Assoc.
  • Camp Instructor at several colleges including North Carolina State Univ. and UNCW
  • Oldest son played at Millbrook High School and UNCW and is now the Pitching Coach and Lead Recruiter at UNCC
  • Youngest son played at Leesville High School and Univ. of Tennessee at Martin and is now the Outfield coach at William and Mary
